Volunteer Opportunities

START & FINISH LINE CREW

Want to take part in the action at the Start & Finish line? We're looking for enthusiastic, outgoing & organized volunteers to join the Start & Finish Line Race Crew! 

RUNNERS' CHUTE

Runners’ Chute positions run from 6:30 AM until the end of the race.

Duties include:  

  • Assist in set up and tear down of Runners’ Chute as required

  • Greet and provide direction to runners entering the Chute

  • Ensuring only runners are accessing the Chute

t-Shirt swap

T-Shirt Swap Positions run from 7:00 AM until the end of the race.

Duties include:  

  • Assist in the set up of the T-Shirt Swap as required

  • Exchange T-Shirt sizes based on runner’s desired size

  • Support with additional tasks in Registration Tent if needed


marathon route CREW

Want to cheer on participants on the marathon route? We're looking for alert & energetic volunteers for the Marathon Route Crew!

Route Cyclist

Route Cyclist Positions available from 7:00 AM until the end of assigned distance.  

Duties include:  

  • Cycling the entirety of the race route of assigned distance

  • Directing participants along the race route and providing ongoing support

  • Assisting runners are required

  • Directly communicating with route team in the event of hazards or an emergency

  • Equipped with First Aid Kit to provide first aid in the event of an injury

pace runner

Pace Runner positions are available from 7:30 AM until the end of assigned distance.  

Duties include:  

  • Running designated distance at the assigned pace

  • Communicating with race participants following assigned pace

  • Motivating race participants following assigned pace

 

water stations

Water Station Positions are available from 7:00 AM until the end of the race. There will be groups of 2-5 volunteers at each Water Station.

Duties include:  

  • Assist in set up and tear down of Water Station as required

  • Fill & distribute water to runners

  • Cheering on runners

cheer stations

Cheer Station Positions available from 7:30 AM until the end of the race. There will be groups of 5 volunteers at each Cheer Station.

Duties include:  

  • Cheer & encourage runners

  • Maintain high energy and enthusiasm

  • Utilize bells, noise makers
    and cheer signage


Volunteer Assignments

Volunteers will be notified of volunteer assignments prior to September 1. If you require more information regarding your volunteer assignment, or would like to make changes please email us.
