2023 Inter Pipeline Fort McMurray Marathon thanks participants and community partners

(Fort McMurray, AB, September 25, 2023) – The 2023 Inter Pipeline Fort McMurray Marathon thanks participants and community partners for supporting the event this year. This year marks the highest registration in the event to date, with almost all distances sold out prior to race day on Sunday September 24.

Since 2012, runners from Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo and beyond have participated in the annual Fort McMurray Marathon at the end of September. In 2022, a new charitable element was added to the marathon experience through the Run for a Reason program which allows registered charitable organizations to sign up as fundraising beneficiaries while marathon participants have the opportunity to raise funds for their favourite registered charity. In 2023, the marathon evolved once again as long-time marathon community partner Inter Pipeline came on board as the new presenting partner.
