The Fort McMurray Marathon Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the event will offer an elevated runners experience in 2018, thanks to the support of new and continued community partnerships.

This year the Fort McMurray Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 16th. Marathon participants, volunteers and spectators alike will descend on MacDonald Island Park for a race day full of festivities including music, food, awards and family fun. Over the past five years, this popular event has received tremendous support with a growing base of dedicated runners helping pave the way to a full marathon addition.
